Michigan State Football cuts the cake and remains unbeaten

The MSU Spartan football team are still unbeaten after passing Indiana 20-15 on the road in Bloomington. MSU has now achieved a perfect 7-0 record.

A lot of people complain that they thought MSU would have played better, but let me point it out. State won the hard-fought road game, which is no easy task. The fans always want more because a lot of them just don’t get it.

MSU will likely drop from 10th in the country because Iowa was upset at home against Purdue. MSU also covered the point spread for bettors which is a part of life these days.

MSU star running back Kenneth Walker III totaled 84 rushing yards. He has 997 for the season. Walker is still the number one field winner in all of college football as we speak. He is also a strong contender for the Heisman Trophy.

Now MSU will have a week off and will be off next weekend. They will prepare their great rivals the Michigan Wolverines with whom they will face off on October 30 at Spartan Stadium. It will be an epic battle between two strong teams. Both are undefeated, but Michigan hosts Northwestern next Saturday at the “Big House”. Toe to leather is at noon.

I love that Michigan is 7-0 when they face the Spartans on the 30th. Both teams would be undefeated. Michigan is looking to redeem itself after last year’s game with MSU. MSU beat them pretty solidly in Ann Arbor, but that was last season. It’s a whole new year with a lot of new players on both teams.

We strive for that stuff in sports. It will certainly be the biggest game in the country that day. A bit of Halloween Havoc. Can MSU continue to cut the cake? Well, we’ll see, but they can rest and prepare for the Paul Bunyan Trophy! Who will win this epic contest?
