The Michigan State Spartans traveled nearly 800 miles to Atlanta, Georgia for their first-ever Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl appearance.
The highly anticipated game between the No.10 Spartans and the No.12 Pitt Panthers will take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Atlanta Falcons.
MSU’s peerless running back and Doak Walker Award winner Kenneth Walker III won’t play in tonight’s game as he chose to declare himself for the 2022 NFL Draft. Pitt quarterback and Heisman finalist Kenny Pickett. Both should be high picks in the draft.
Both of these teams will certainly be missed by both teams, but they will adapt to the changes. Pitt brings Nick Patti junior redshirt to the quarterback, and MSU will rely heavily on Jayden Reed and Jaylen Nailor in their offensive attack.
Michigan State leads the record against Pitt 6-0-1 as Mel Tucker comes to town hoping to take Michigan State to 11-2 and add another star this season.
Several Spartans have returned to their home state of Georgia to play tonight’s game. The border between Michigan and Georgia is deep, and the seven rookies in the 2022 class are proof of that as they all come together in tribute here in Peach State.
