REMARKS: Even after scoring just one goal in a 1-1 draw at Michigan on Thursday, the Buffs still share the national lead averaging 3.86 goals per game….CU and the Spartans have met twice, the road team winning every game in a home-and-away series played in 2016 and 2018. The last meeting was a 3-0 win for CU at East Lansing in 2018, powered by a goal and an assist apiece from Jorian Baucom and Tatum Barton… CU’s Shyra James had it the school-record streak for goals and points broke 10 straight in the draw at Michigan. James hadn’t gone without a goal since a 1-1 draw at home to Oregon on October 21 last season… CU’s Civana Kuhlmann has scored in five of seven games this season… The Oregon defender Michigan State Maddy Brady, a freshman from Broomfield High, has appeared in two games off the bench for the Spartans…The Spartans have only scored one goal in the last two games and are coming off a one-game win scoreless draw against Oakland on Thursday… The Buffs return home to host the DU Pioneers in the non-conference final game on September 17.
